UCF PhD student Kylie Harmon has much to celebrate. First, Kylie was awarded a $1,500 scholarship through the NSCA Foundation. Founded in 2007 with the aim of supporting the advancement of strength and conditioning practical applications, the NSCA Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to providing funding to NSCA members taking part in educational and research endeavors. In addition, Kylie was awarded $5,040 through the UCF LIFE group’s Richard Tucker Gerontology Applied Research Award program. Both of these awards will help Kylie focus on research throughout her doctoral studies at UCF.
