Alina Swafford publishes M.S. thesis manuscript

Alina Swafford, a graduate of the M.S. in Kinesiology program, recently had her thesis manuscript accepted by the European Journal of Applied Physiology. The title of the article is “No acute effects of placebo or open-label placebo treatments on strength, voluntary activation, and neuromuscular fatigue” and it can be found here: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00421-019-04219-1 Co-authors include Dennis Kwon, Rob MacLennan, Dr. David Fukuda, Dr. Jeffrey Stout, and Dr. Stock (PI). Alina is currently a Ph.D. student at UNLV working under the direction of Dr. John Mercer. We are very proud of her accomplishments!
